We stand in parallel with young people of color as they navigate mental health and social justice barriers—building a social movement rooted in healing, faith, empowerment, and justice.

About Standing in Parallel

Standing in Parallel is a community-centered non-profit dedicated to supporting young people of color ages 7-22 as they navigate mental health and social justice barriers. We exist to create safe, grounding spaces where healing, faith, identity, and empowerment are prioritized.

We believe every young person deserves access to the tools, community, and confidence needed to heal and thrive. Through forms of therapy access, mentorship, and workshops centered on racial identity, resilience, and self-worth, we foster environments where healing isn’t just encouraged, it’s normalized.

Our Programs

*We are currently in a foundational stage, building our programs and partnerships to best serve youth in our community.*

“WE STAND IN PARALLEL WITH YOU — NOT ABOVE YOU — WALKING TOGETHER TOWARD HEALING AND WHOLENESS.”
